Class Descriptions

Gentle Yoga

A cohesion of hatha (sun/moon) and vinyasa (movement linked with breath). The class adapts to your needs and harmony of your breath and movement through asanas (physical postures), increasing strength and flexibility. Reclaim your stillness to restore and connect with your Self. Learn body awareness and to feel alignment of asana from within. We will use mudras (hand gestures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) to support the energetic lessons of the practice. Through focusing on your breath and deeply listening and honoring yourself in your yoga practice, you will generate more peace and calmness of mind, increase your compassion and feel good in your body.

Restorative Yoga

This class invites you to connect with your embodied intelligence, where deep healing and restoration is made available. We open class with a slow and gentle Hatha yoga flow. In the remaining 45 minutes, we soften through a series of supportive and nourishing poses. This practice asks you to be sweet to yourself, become absorbed in the present moment and open yourself to the perfection that you already are.

Hatha Restorative

An inward journey. Experience and cultivate the balance between sthira (steadiness) and sukha (ease) in your asanas. The first half of the class develops strength, flexibility and alignment. The second half is dedicated to a supportive practice of surrendering the effort and allowing the body to release to the body's wisdom.

Hatha Vinyasa

Through proper alignment, learn how to balance strength and flexibility in all your asanas. With Radhe's encouragement, learn how to cultivate the confidence of what is best for your body. As one of her student's said "Just because you don't look a certain way doesn't mean you aren't doing it correctly". Experience in depth cueing, core strengthening and spinal alignment in all of your postures. Using the power of the breath, find the steadiness(sthira) and grace(sukha) in your yoga practice as you consciously work in the pose.

Introduction to Ayurveda Series

Explore Ayurveda, the ancient sister science to yoga, and bring physical, mental and spiritual balance to your life on a daily basis.

Class 1  :  Gain greater self-acceptance as you discover your unique constitution or dosha.  Learn how to make more intuitive choices that balance body, mind and spirit.

Class 2  :  Restore balance and harmonize with the rhythms of nature. Explore how your dosha is affected by the seasons and how to adjust your diet and lifestyle to boost your digestion and augment your health.

Class 3  :  Cooking class!  Have fun learning how to cook two of the most healing and cleansing staples of the Ayurvedic diet.  Kitchari and Ghee. Nourishing Ayurvedic meal included.

Class 4  : Design a personal daily ritual that reduces stress, eases restless thoughts and supports mental clarity. Learn a simple meditation practice to include in your daily routine.

Meditation
One-on-ONe

Rooted in practices handed down by meditation masters. As a certified meditation teacher, Radhe, will bring forth the art of stilling the mind and finding your seat for meditation. Pranayama and mantra are tools used to begin a practice that can transform your life both on and off the cushion. Realize you are no longer a slave to your mind. Experience improved concentration, stress reduction, increased self awareness, and a more peaceful and happy life.

During a Breathwork Session you will be doing Conscious Connected Breathing, which allows deep awareness and connection to develop with self, others, and nature, providing the groundwork for profound personal development.

Oxygen Advantage® Breathwork Training

Yamas & Niyamas

In these classes we will move mindfully through yoga postures (asanas) and breath (pranayama) & incorporate this ancient yogic wisdom of the Yamas & Niyamas into your practice. These “observances” guide us on how to align with our highest selves and create a better world from the inside out.

An Introduction & Exploration into the Yamas & Niyamas
